The Boys & Girls Club is the place to be after school! Kids will find a quiet space to complete their homework assignments and get help and guidance from our skilled staff.
Homework Help & Tutoring
Through our 21st Century Academic Enrichment Program, our Staff serves as Academic Advocates for our Club Kids who may be struggling with their schoolwork, providing tutoring and homework help to those who need assistance. Our Certified Teachers are available every day after school for all of our Club Kids, ages 6 to 18.
Money Matters: Make It Count
Make It Count gets youth started now making good decisions for their financial futures. The program moves from teens’ current lives to preparing for financial life after high school and then young adulthood. In staff-led sessions and through personal reflection in a companion Teen Personal Finance Guide, teens develop the financial skills that can lead to workplace readiness, lifelong financial stability and overall success.
Power Hour
Make minutes count! This hourlong after school program offers students ages 6 to 18 a quiet place to complete their daily homework and get help, if needed, from trained Club staff. After their homework is completed, students can choose to participate in a variety of other engaging and educational activities to develop their skills further and become self-directed learners. This program includes academic enrichment, mentoring and college prep.
