Director of Behavioral Health Services

Under the supervision of the Teen Center Director, the Director of Behavioral Health Services (DBHS) will oversee behavioral health services at the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City’s (BGCAC) Teen Center. The DBHS will provide leadership that promotes trauma-informed care through staff training, consultation and supervision, aligned with all BGCAC programming. This role will be multi-faceted in terms of providing case management services, while also supervising staff case manager(s) and college interns from the Stockton School of Social Work, building an organizational trauma informed culture, while also serving as a thought leader in the community. This position will require a License in Clinical Social Work. The Director is self-motivated and has experience working with youth.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

Youth Development Professional

Responsible for planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating youth activities that support BGCAC five core program areas; The Arts, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, Character & Leadership Development and Sports, Fitness and Recreation for youth 13-18yrs old.

Sous Chef

Essential Tasks & Responsibilities

Supports the Executive Chef in menu management, food prep and serving meals, including but not limited to Breakfast and Lunch provisions in the Summer and Dinner during the school year. Ensures club children are provided with a daily snack and dinner. Responsible for keeping kitchen cleaned, sanitized, and organized; reports any issues or concerns to the Executive Chef and Drexel Unit Director. Ensures daily snack and dinner count sheets forms are filled out correctly and accurately. Organize storage areas and control use of materials, equipment and tools to prevent loss of supplies. Communicates with Executive Chef of any equipment issues. Responsible for communicating with Executive Chef when food items need to be ordered. Manage effectively, behaviors that are aligned with the club, grant compliance and health & safety protocols. Assure that the daily operation complies with the requirements for a license Child Care Afterschool facility. Strengthen relationships through planning, coordination and implementation of projects in partnership with the community.

Salary: $16 per hour

Teen Center Technology Assistant

The Teen Center Technology Assistant is a part time role, working at our Teen Center & Drexel Club location serving Club Teens 6 to 18 years old. This position will work collaboratively with our STEAM Director to plan, supervise and implement a variety of high-yield activities and targeted learning focused on science, technology, engineering, art and math. Activities and teaching objectives will include technical graphic design skills, facilitating science projects and experiments, technology exploration, Lego Education Lessons, and more. This position will assist with instruction for teens in small groups, as well as convening special events.


Assist with the instruction of STEAM learning for all Club Kids, serving ages 6 through 18. Teaching technical skills including critical thinking, problem solving, creative design and more. Assist youth in explore new forms of technology using Apple Learning Tool & Lego Education. Creation and execution of STEAM lesson planning, specifically executing Lego Education lesson plans for coding and robotics education. Engage and assist youth in logo development, business planning, and marketing related to the Design Lab Social Enterprise. A high level of organization is required to maintain attendance, lesson plans and supplies. Work with other community-based organizations on partnership projects. Assist with data collection and assessments to measure the educational value and overall impact of STEAM programs this includes pre/post tests, questionnaires and other tools to evaluate program effectiveness
